My folks thought I had unsightly teeth and forced me to visit the vet... I must admit that I really hate that place... The vet dude anaesthetized me and removed some tartar. What's wrong with having some colours on your teeth??? I never complained! Now my mum and dad have started a new regime at home; they brush my teeth every day and they also put something called "PlaqueOff" in my food. Actually brushing the teeth is quite fun; the toothpaste tastes really good!!!
Lise thought I behaved a bit strange when I was anaesthetized......

That sort of behaviour by your humans definately should mean lots of treats for you ! You do know that BIG bones are good for cleaning your teeth ?

Yeah big bones helps Opy - I guess i just have to convince mum and dad to buy huge bones!!! But as I said, brushing my teeth is quite fun:-)

I dont like the vets eather . my humans: On our most recent foray into doggy teeth cleaning, they purchased a special electric dog tooth brush. It's big, soft and gentle. I like it much better then the vets,I have it done 2 times a day ..

i've never had my teeth cleaned at the dentist (i'm only 1 1/2) it looks scary. i don't like the vet you always get a shot and a stick up your you-know-where! oh and that comic strip on my blog that's Get Fuzzy and you can read it everyday at

Does your teefs paste taste like beef?? Doodles' does. Doodles has not had to get his teefs cleaned cuz he gets big bones and has his teefs brushed. It looks horrieble. You should protest and make them buy you a cheesyburger.

Sammy had to get his teeth cleaned just like you did. He said he slept through the whole thing but was really glad when Mom showed up to take him home! We think Mom was more nervous about it than Sammy!
