Still chaos, but...
Yes, it's still chaos at home, but now it seems to be a light in the tunnel... Daddy has opened a hole between the new and the old house. Hopefully in a month or so there will be a much larger hole and the first floor in the extension will be finished. I've to admit that I'm pretty tired of all the noise due to the cartpentering..
Having fun with mum..
As you can see, there are still a few things to do: Doors, parquet, mouldings and of course painting... But as daddy says; the heavy work is already done and the rest will much easier.
Looking towards the extension from the old house. What terrible wallpaper we found behind the newer plaster/wallpaper...

Christmas time
We celebrated the Christmas with my mum's sister and her family + grandma. The humans say they have had a great festival so far. My Christmas has been great too. I got a few presents; mostly dog bones, biscuits and candies :-) Fortunately, I also had a couple of really long walks. In addition I played a lot with Mira (my aunties dunker), so my Christmas has been great so far!!
The Christmas table.
Mira is hoping for some human food....

Pondus; maybe my new best friend..
Yesterday, Pondus visited our house. This little Jack Russell doggie is only 8 weeks and he will probably be my new best friend since my humans are good friends with Pondus' humans. I have to admit tough that I'm a bit sceptical...: My folks really liked this little thing... Hope they don't forget me...

We finally killed the mouse...
A few days ago my mum heard some weird noises - she was not sure exactly where, but probably somewhere around the kitchen area. She told my dad that these noises probably were caused by a mouse inside the house... After some investigations my folks found some mouse droppings beneath the sink unit... Therefore, my dad bought a mousetrap! They fastened a piece of cheese to this trap and they were pretty sure they would catch and kill the little bastard. The next day the cheese was gone, but there was no mouse in the trap....... Hmmm, this must be a smart little animal... Maybe some ham would do the job???? Nope, the mouse was smarter than my humans one more time............................... The third day they fastened a small piece of pepperoni to the mousetrap, and this time my folks could celebrate that they actually were smarter than the mouse....
How intelligent are really mum and dad? What if this was a really stupid mouse....????
